There are a ridiculous amount of contouring tutorials out there. And admittedly, I’m sold on the concept completely. But contouring has way more mileage in it than working just on the face. I’m not suggesting going to town and painting on some Kayla Itsines-style abs, but contouring collar bones is something that makes all the difference where a low cut top is concerned.
The principals are the same as traditional contouring for your face; using highlights and shadow to create a more defined look. It’s understated and creates a beautiful effect on the clavicle. I love to use glowy, cream-based products layered with my Anastasia Contour Kit. The only thing to remember is to be really careful when you’re putting your clothes on. There’s nothing worse than going through all that work only to have to pull on a polo neck because you ruined a cream silk top with make-up marks. I’ve learned the hard way.
